No Update

Sorry guys, I don't think that there will be an update this week. I still have a lot of work to do on the page, and it's already Thursday, and tomorrow I'm going to be really busy. I'm excited for when I get it up, though!! :)

Fizzle

I know, I know. All of this hooplah surrounding my completion of the prologue, and then ... ! Four straight weeks of nothing. I didn't exactly plan on that happening, but I'm not surprised that it has. A LOT has been going on for me recently, which has made my mindset a little frazzled.

I'm here to tell you (actually, I doubt anyone reads this news feed, but if you do, shoutout to ya!) that I'm sorry for the delay in updates. It might go on for a few more weeks like this as well. But don't worry--Exvulnerum has gone through dry weeks before and it's always come back (usually better than ever). And with that said, I bring you: WISPY REFERENCES TO THE VAGUE, STRANGE FUTURE!

Basically, I expect that starting sometime this summer, I'm going to be able to spend a lot more time on the comic, and that free time will continue way beyond the summer (if things go how I'm planning on them going). That means you'll probably be able to count on a new page every week, perhaps (dare I say it?) two per week?! I know that I've made statements like this before (on a smaller scale, usually about just the next upcoming week), but you have to believe that Exvulnerum is VERY important to me, and I want to move the story along as fast as you all want me to. :) If I have the time and inspiration to crank out 2, 3 pages a week, you can bet that I'll grab the opportunity! But please know that I am a busy girl with many interests (general artwork, writing, learning Japanese, TRAINING POKEMON) and sometimes I just get... swallowed up in other things, haha. But yeah, I apologize, and hopefully things can start sailing more smoothly and consistently in the comic-making department.

My goal is that by May 1 of 2012, Exvulnerum will have at least 77 pages. That means 46 pages between now and then (that's 16 more pages than Exv's first year in business). Now, hopefully all this free time will mean that I can surpass that goal, but that's just my own personal Zules-if-you-fail-this-one-you-really-suck goal.

Okay, thanks for listening to me ramble XD The main thing I wanted to say is that Exvulnerum hasn't died in any way whatsoever, and I suck at keeping a regular update schedule (not that I've been legitimately guaranteeing one) and blah, blah, blah.

P.S. Just so you know, the next page is already in progress (and has been for 4 weeks, admittedly).

Minor Edit Madness!

So since I finished the prologue late last night, (whew! It only took about a year :P) I wanted to go back through all the pages and correct any mistakes that I could. This mostly consisted of de-chinning Evey's huge chins in the early Evey pages, but I also made a few minor dialogue tweaks and other edits. You're invited to go back and re-read the prologue if you've been here a while.

All that aside, I'm thinking about finally introducing my comic to the public, but in a low-key manner (I'm not going to try and promote it via advertising or TWC or anything). I promised myself when I started this crazy ride that I wouldn't upload any pages to deviantART until I completed the ENTIRE prologue. Well... guess what? Mission complete! So chances are that pretty soon the pages will be on deviantART and the comic will be revealed to all of my watchers (which number in the hundreds). How many will actually bother to read Exv, I don't know, but I'm hoping that at least some of them are interested.

So, what do you guys think about the minor edits? I would ask your opinions on releasing it on deviantART, but I know myself and I know I'm probably way too impatient to wait any longer XD I've spent a good year working on Exvulnerum, and I really want everyone to see my hard work. I just really hope it's worth their time by now.

I apologize for the lack of updates the past couple weeks. I have no real excuse for last week, but as for this week, today is my birthday 8D! Hopefully I'll be able to get back on track next week!
